The N6NMZ network is a group of "Open" Amateur Radio repeaters located throughout Northern California primarily designed and built by three individuals with some help from their friends. The three originally separate systems have now been combined into one. The three partners in this system are Kevin Baltz, KB6LCS, Eric Homa, N6NMZ and the late John Barnhill, WB6OHV. Kevin and Eric intend to carry on the work and vision of their late friend John. The system is a combination of smaller linked systems and stand-alone repeaters. Some repeaters will remain stand-alone while others are, or will be, connected through the hub system located at Mt. Vaca. Various callsigns represented in the system belong to either the principals of the system or their friends. |
