| The N6NMZ repeater is open to all licensed amateur radio operators and is located at 1,100 feet in the Sierra Foothills near Auburn, California. Coverage extends from just south of Sacramento to Maxwell in the north. West as far as Vacaville and east into the Sierra Nevadas. | ||
| The repeater was built using a modified GE MASTR EXEC II for the transmitter and a modified GE MVP for the receiver. The duplexer is a 4 cavity Celewave BPBR. There is a commercial receiver preamp along with a DB Products 40 watt power amplifier. The antenna is a 12db Celewave vertical and it is fed with 7/8" Andrews Heliax. The controller is a Creative Control Concepts model SRC-10. |
